The Royal Aero Club was originally founded by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein after discovering the thrill of flying and seeing the beauty of His Kingdom from the air.

His Majesty believes everyone should be given the same chance to see all the wonders of Jordan, and so the Royal Aero Sports of Jordan was founded with this aim in mind.

The Royal Aero Sports club is a non-profit making club and all activities are funded purely from the income they generate. His Royal Highness  Prince Hamzah is now the president and is a qualified skydiver himself.
